FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022: Argentina V France – Fans begin countdown to final as excitement heightens

Fans overshadowed by excitement are counting down the hours to what assures to be a FIFA World Cup final to remember in Doha, Qatar.

It is the final of the FIFA World Cup 2022 in Arab country, Qatar, which will feature two heavyweights in the world of international football – Argentina locking horns with defending champions, France, at the Lusail Stadium – for the trophy.

This is certainly history on the line for both nations, France are targeting to emerge just the third team to retain the trophy in its 92-year history, following in the pathway of Italy and Brazil.

Didier Deschamps, Les Bleus head coach, who captained France to victory in 1998, is also hustling to become the first manager after Italy’s Vittorio Pozzo in 1938 to win back-to-back titles.

For the South American nation, Argentina, their dream and hopes rest on the shoulders of their captain Lionel Messi, who is regarded by many as the greatest of all time.

Messi’s wish will be to crown his beautiful career with a FIFA World Cup champions medal.
