England got booted out of the FIFA World Cup 2022, hosted in Arab nation, Qatar, at the quarter finals by France 2-1, and forward Marcus Rashford says, “no time to feel sorry” for the shocking exit of the Three Lions at the tournament.
In the Carabao Cup match between Manchester United and Burnley, the Red Devils clinched a beautiful 2-0 victory over their visitors.
After the victory at the Old Trafford, Rashford said, when a team falls, all that is required of the team is to pick themselves up and he believes the Red Devils did exactly that in the encounter against the Clarets on Wednesday 21, December.
Eleven days after England’s campaign at the FIFA World Cup 2022 came to an end, Rashford returned to action at the Theatre of Dreams, sealing victory for Erik Ten Hag’s side with the second goal in the 57th minute after midfielder Christian Eriksen opened scoring in the 27th minute.
