He is the grandson of Reggae Legend, Bob Marley and son to Stephen Marley. Mersa Marley was found unresponsive in a vehicle in the United States (US) on Tuesday, according to streaming platform, Tidal.
The musician known by his stage name, Jo Mersa, had according to reports suffered Asthma all his life.
According to Florida Radio Station, he died of Asthma attack.
Joseph Mersa Marley spent his early years in Jamaica, where he attended Saints Peter and Paul Preparatory School.
He moved to Florida, US where he was a student of Palmetto High School
