The presidential flagbearer of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, has promised to “build a Nigeria where all citizens will be able to build a decent life from the fruits of their individual and collective endeavor”.
The former Lagos State Governor made these promise while officially flagging off his presidential campaign at the Rwang Pam Township Stadium in Jos, the capital city of Plateau State on Tuesday 15 November 2022.
Tinubu, in his manifesto themed ‘Renewed Hope 2023’, made it clear that he has an “Action Plan For A Better Nigeria”.
On his official Twitter account, Tinubu said: “Today I am in the historic city of Jos to flag off my presidential campaign. I have come, with my party to affirm our commitment to the ideals of progressive, Democratic governance and to the fruits that only such governance can bring to our nation and its diverse people.
“25th February 2023 is a contest to define the soul of the nation and to determine our collective fate. Given the chance, I will build a Nigeria where all citizens will be able to build a decent life from the fruits of their individual and collective endeavor.
“With this flag off, we take a most important, symbolic step in the best and proper direction of progress and #renewedhope. Remember the road to a better Nigeria lies before us. Together let us walk it. Together let us renew hope. Our journey begins now!”
