People in Guangzhou, a Southern Chinese city, in the latest protest against China’s tight Covid rules, have overnight clashed with Police.

Online footage revealed Police in white Hamzat suits with shields tightly gripped to protect themselves from rubble and bottle thrown at them by angry protesters.
Another footage showed people being taken away handcuffed.
City officials, on Wednesday, disclosed that Covid restrictions would be relaxed in several districts across the country.
Recently, China has seen record numbers of new Covid cases, and according to posts splashed on social media, the demonstrations took place late on Tuesday and stretched into the early hours of Wednesday in the Haizhu District.
