2023 Elections: ‘Nigerians should vote for whoever they like from whichever party’ – President Buhari

President of Nigeria, Muhammadu Buhari, has assured, his government will not give room to anybody who has the intention to “mobilize resources and thugs to intimidate people in any constituency”, as the 2023 general elections approach.

The President made this known why speaking to reporters in London, England.

He also told Nigerians to go ahead and “vote for whoever they like from whichever party” come next year.

Buhari did not forget to speak highly of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential candidate, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, describing him as “well-known politician in the country”.

While speaking to reporters in London, the President spoke about the possibility of APC winning the 2023 presidential election, he confidently said, “we (APC) are going to win the election”.

“Nigerians should vote for whoever they like from whichever party. Nobody will be allowed to mobilize resources and thugs to intimidate people in any constituency. That’s how I want to go down into Nigeria’s history, as a leader.


“We (APC) are going to win the election, Tinubu the presidential candidate is a very well-known politician in the country. He was a two-term governor in Lagos. I think the party was lucky to get him to accept to be the candidate,” Buhari said.
