Liverpool cruised into their second triumph of the Uefa Champions League 2022/23 after keeping a clean sheet against their Scottish opposition right inside Anfield with defender Trent Alexander-Arnold inspiring Jurgen Klopp’s side with an early lead.

The English side have struggled for form this season, however, a feeble Rangers paved the way for Klopp’s men’s return to winning ways to move nigh to the knockout stages.
Liverpool were in control almost all through the encounter as Englishman Trent Alexander-Arnold opened scoring for Liverpool with a 25-yard free-kick, early in the seventh minute.

Eight minutes into the second 45 minutes, the Reds netted their second and last goal of the match from the penalty spot through Egyptian forward Mohamed Salah after Luis Diaz was fouled on by Leon King.
