Premier League: Chelsea 1-1 Manchester United – Hosts remain above Red Devils after dramatic draw

Casemiro’s stoppage-time header handed Manchester United a deserved point in a dramatic premier league finale against Chelsea at the Stamford Bridge on Saturday 22 October.

Chelsea looked to have clinched victory against Erik Ten Hag’s side after midfielder Jorginho scored late in the 87th minute for the Blues from the penalty spot, sending goalkeeper David de Gea the wrong way.

Defeat would not have been good on Manchester United, however, they earned the one point they deserved for their beautiful performance when Casemiro rose to convert Luke Shaw’s cross deep into six minutes of stoppage time.

With this result, Chelsea remain above Manchester United by just one point, accumulating  21 points.
