Barcelona midfielder Alexia Putellas, has clinched the Ballon d’Or 2022 Feminin, making it the second time she is winning the prize in her career.

For her beautiful performance for Barcelona and Spain, Putellas won the award in 2021 and has retained the award in 2022 after yet another beautiful 2021/22 campaign.
Putellas scored 28 goals in 37 encounters in all competitions throughout the season, as well as won a sixth Liga F title and a seventh Copa de la Reina of her career.
The 28-year old and her club, Barcelona, managed to reach a second consecutive Uefa Women’s Champions League final, however, fell 3-1 to Lyon at the Allianz Stadium.
