Following the death of Queen Elizabeth II, all football fixtures in England, Northern Ireland, Wales and Scotland this weekend have been postponed as a mark of respect to the late monarch.

Queen Elizabeth II died at the age of 96 at her Balmoral Castle in Scotland on Thursday. She was the longest-serving British monarch who reigned for 70 years.

Ten Premier League plus six fixtures of the Scottish Premiership were scheduled. Also called off includes England National League, FA Trophy and grassroots football.
English football League matches were supposed to take place on Friday and Saturday, alongside six Women’s Super League fixtures on Saturday and Sunday.
