Senator Ademola Adeleke, the Osun State Governor-elect, has hailed the Supreme Court for its judgement that affirms him as the real Governorship candidate of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in the election in July 16.

On Thursday, in a statement by his spokesperson, Mr Rasheed Olawale, in Oshogbo, Adeleke said that the outcome of the case was the manifestation of strong “hand of God” in his governorship project.
Adeleke said, his faith in the judiciary has always been firm, as he labelled the Justices of the Apex Court as “agents of truth and justice”.
He said, “As I noted in my statement yesterday (Wednesday), this project is divine and it has come to stay.

“Our people voted for light and we must all defend and sustain that mandate built on our five-point agenda for good governance.”
The Osun State Governor-elect also said, “the people’s mandate remains sacrosanct”, as he called on Governor Gboyega Oyetola to ensure that his hand over notes are well compiled.

According to News Agency of Nigeria (NAN), Prince Dotun Babayemi, one of the PDP governorship aspirants had challenged the recognition of Adeleke as the PDP candidate in court.
