The Abia State governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Chief Ikechi Emenike, has promised the people of the state, that he “will rescue and develop Abia into a world-class state” if he emerges victorious in the 2023 Elections.

The APC governorship flagbearer made this known at a town hall meeting in Abia State with stakeholders on Thursday.
Chief Emenike said: “We will rescue Abia and develop it and even if Nigeria refuses to develop.
“My vision is to create a world-class state by developing Abia beyond people’s expectations.”
He further said, those that “destroyed Abia” will not be given any space to continue.
He said: “Those who destroyed Abia will not continue and you can surely hold me accountably when I become the governor.”
He went ahead to urge the people of Abia to ensure they vote the right leaders to lead the state in 2023, instead of staying back and complaining in the future.
