French forward Kylian Mbappe opened scoring early after eight seconds and went further to close with a hat-trick as Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) cruised past Lille 7-1 in the French Ligue 1 encounter on Sunday August 21, 2022.

Lionel Messi made it two for PSG in the 27th minute, Achraf Hakimi netted the third goal in the 39th minute before Neymar netted the fourth and fifth goals in the 43rd and 52nd minutes respectively.
Jonathan Bamba pulled one back for Lille in the 54th minute and Mbappe scored two more goals for the visitors in the 66th and 87th minute to make it seven goals for PSG to 1 goal for Lille.

With this result, Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) are Ligue 1 toppers with nine points – maintaining their perfect start to the new season by winning three out of three matches.
