Bundesliga: Bochum 0-7 Bayern Munich – Mane scores twice as Nagelsmann’s side extend unbeaten run, plus other games and results

German Bundesliga Kings, Bayern Munich, whitewashed Vfl Bochum 7-0 on Sunday, August 22, 2022 with new addition Sadio Mane netting a brace to help maintain the club’s perfect start to the 2022/23 Bundesliga season.

Julian Nagelsmann’s side who are two points clear at the top of the League table with nine points from three League encounters, went on a first 45 minutes rampage, scoring four times within 40 minutes to erase any hopes of the hosts levelling.

The visitors went ahead early in the 4th minute through Leroy Sane, new signing Matthijs de Ligt recorded his name on the scoresheet with the second goal in the 25th minute.

Kingsley Conan’s shot from close-range and made it three for the Bavarians in the 33rd minute, and Sadio Mane made it four for the visitors in the 42nd minute.

The Senegal international netted his third goal of the season for Bayern Munich from the penalty spot to make it five goals to nil in favour of Bayern.

Bochum’s Cristian Gamboa found the back of his own net to make it six goals for Bayern in the 69th minute and Serge Gnabry sealed victory for Julian Nagelsmann’s side with the 7th goal in the 76th minute.

With this outcome, Bayern Munich have successfully maintained their 100% start to the season, clinching three victories out of three matches and amassing a total of nine points.
